MÄDLER
MÄDLER GmbH is a long-established, family-run company and one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of drive elements and standard parts. Its products serve the mechanical engineering, automotive and design sectors. The company has built its reputation over many years of tradition in the field. That combination of family ownership and deep industry experience sets MÄDLER apart in the market.

Why MÄDLER chose revel8

Before switching to revel8, MÄDLER struggled with an email awareness solution that had little to do with reality. The simulated phishing mails and landing pages were so poorly and unconvincingly designed that employees spotted the trick immediately, which created a dangerous false sense of security. The team passed the tests but remained completely unprepared for genuine, sophisticated cyberattacks. Forthat reason, MÄDLER needed training that would challenge their people and protect them effectively.

revel8 set itself apart out with its holistic and innovative portfolio, going beyond classic email tests to address today's real threats. Especially the combination of AI-supported pentesting, modern awareness training and protection against advanced deepfake attacks showed MÄDLER it had found a partner operating on a technological level with the attackers.

Details on partnership

The company has been working with revel8 for more than a year, running the platform for over 100 employees. Onboarding required minimal IT involvement. Active Directory sync and CSV import made setup fast and flexible, allowing the team to focus on security training from day one rather than technical configuration. MÄDLER concentrates on the core features and attack types that matter most to their daily work, including AI-supported pentesting, highly realistic email scenarios and protection against deepfake attacks such as voice cloning.

The simulated deepfake calls and the new phishing builder have stood out in particular. The deepfake simulations address a threat scenario that most traditional providers overlook entirely, yet one that poses a very real danger in practice. Combined with the phishing builder's flexibility, the team can now create tailored, highly realistic campaigns that reflect their specific environment, quickly and without friction.

Initial success

For the team, the security culture has changed in a noticeable and lasting way:

  • Employees now handle suspicious emails and unexpected calls far more carefully and attentively in their everyday work. The interaction rate has dropped to just 5%, reflecting a clear improvement in how staff recognise and respond to attack attempts.
  • At the same time, IT teams now have significantly better analytics to identify high-risk employees and respond directly with tailored e-learning measures.
  • With a training completion rate that has grown steadily to 32%, the training meets employees exactly where they need support and makes the entire organisation more resilient step by step.

Looking forward

Next up, MÄDLER plans to deepen its collaboration with revel8 and embed the platform firmly into its ongoing security and training processes. The team is looking to expand into new attack types and integrate the revel8 Academy, adding structured learning content alongside the simulations. Impressed by revel8´s drive to innovate, the company is also ready to act as a beta tester for new functions, piloting upcoming features and shaping them through its feedback. In this way, MÄDLER aims to keep its defenses prepared for every new type of AI driven attack

Feedback
“revel8 has completely transformed our security awareness, from the straightforward AD import to incredibly realistic deepfake calls and targeted measures for repeat offenders. It is a platform that operates on the same technological level as the attackers, and we are thrilled to have them as a partner.”
